School Uniform

The current uniform is as follows: school jacket or navy blazer with school badge; Navy or grey shorts/trousers or skirt/pinafore; gold polo shirt or white shirt and school tie; navy sweatshirt or navy or grey jumper or cardigan. All new pupils will be issued with a school tie free of charge on starting at Killermont (a shirt and tie is specifically requested for school photos and some assemblies) – if you have not received this please ask at the school office.

The PTA organise all school uniform items displaying the school badge - see uniform items below.

Please note items with the school logo are optional, items of the appropriate colour, without the school badge can be purchased from any retailer.

Uniform Items

How to Order

You are now able to order Killermont Primary and Nursery Uniforms in 3 ways:

1. Online - visit www.kitmykid.co.uk and select Killermont Primary School (or Killermont Nursery) from the list of schools on the left hand side. From there, you are able to see all the items which are available to order for the school. Stock availability is visible on each item. If an item is not in stock then you are able to order it even if the website states "Out of stock." There are 3 delivery methods for the uniform. You can either pay £3.95 for home delivery, select Click and collect from our shop in Kirkintilloch or can select free delivery to school. When your order has been dispatched or is ready for collection, you will receive a text message to let you know of the uniforms progress. You are able to pay online using a credit or debit card using the paypal service. You do not need a paypal account to use the paypal service.

2. You can call our Kirkintilloch store on 0141 777 8528 and an assistant will be able to take your order over the phone and take a phone payment. The delivery options are the same as ordering online.

3. You can visit the store in Kirkintilloch where they hold some stock from Killermont Primary and Nursery. You are able to try on sizes and place orders in store for uniforms. The delivery options are the same as ordering online.

We hope this new ordering method will benefit the parents as you are able to order at any time of the day or night and you are able to view stock online.

Clothing Grant

If you are on a low income or in receipt of certain benefits you may be eligible for help towards the cost of school uniform.

A new combined online application form for free school meals, free nursery meals and school clothing grants was launched in July 2020.

Clothing labels

Many parents have previously used a company Labelplanet to purchase clothing labels for their children’s school clothes. The labels are called “stickins” and are very good. Their prices seem very competitive. The PTA receives a 10% commission on all purchases. It is worth taking a look at the website : www.labelplanet.co.uk .
